Art(ology) Gallery and Gifts

Art(ology) is an eclectic, fine arts gallery located in the heart of the Mobile Arts District on Cathedral Square. Work ranges from mixed media, jewelry, hand bound books, watercolor, acrylics, collage, assemblage, and textile arts, all made by eight local female artists.

Art(ology) Welcomes New Artists

Art(ology) Inc. is excited to welcome our newest member, book and textile artist Susan Wertelecki, along with guest artist for December and January, mixed media artist, Mary Elizabeth Kimbrough!

Susan Wertelecki is a textile and book artist that specializes in hand made books, journals, and photo books made with fine art papers, fabrics, and textures. She has shown at several local galleries over the years and we are excited to have her join as our next permanent Art(ologist)!

Mary Elizabeth Kimbrough, our guest artist, is an accomplished mixed media artist who creates works of art with bright acrylics, layers, collage, and inks. Her work is vibrant and full of life to say the least. Mary Elizabeth has shown at many galleries, museums, and in private shows over the years. She keeps an online journal about her life, art, and studies as well.
